Pikmin Bloom is one of Niantic’s latest additions to their AR-based game list. As Niantic is always encouraging to spend time in a mixture of the virtual and real world, the game directs players to do so. And now, to make things more exciting for the players, Pikmin Bloom has brought a new function called Weekly Challenge.
Earn epic rewards by participating in the Pikmin Bloom Weekly Challenge
When you tap Activity, which is a new feature on the home screen, you’ll see a list of currently active activities. To begin the Weekly Challenge, choose the challenge you want to engage in and the friend group you want to join. Every week, you can take part in one Weekly Challenge.
The Friends function in Pikmin Bloom allows you to add friends by entering a 12-digit friend code or a QR code. You can see the avatars, account names, and total steps done by each approved buddy on the Friend tab, and you can even send postcards to friends. From now, you can participate in the Weekly Challenge with your friends even if they are not physically present with you in the same spot.
This week’s Weekly Challenge is for you and your friends to target for the total number of steps given in the weekly theme. You will be rewarded if you participate in the Weekly Challenge with your friends and meet the target. Even if you don’t meet your target, you’ll still get a participation bonus. In the future, several sorts of challenges will be introduced to the Weekly Challenge.
