Pikmin Bloom is Niantic’s latest addition to their AR-based game list. As Niantic is always encouraging to spend time in a mixture of the virtual and real world, the game directs players to do so. And now, to make things more exciting for the players, Niantic has revealed that the first Pikmin Bloom Community Day of 2022 will be taking place on 22nd January, and the festivities will take place all day long.
Players will receive a list of in-app bonuses provided in the Pikmin Bloom January 2022 Community Day
To the delight of the players around the globe, those who decide to get involved in the fun and play the game on that day will be able to reap all sorts of rewards. A full list of in-app bonuses provided by Niantic can be found below:
- Big Flowers will bloom into camellias when you plant regular blue, red, yellow, or white petals around them (Camellias have been blooming sparingly from January 1st)
- Players achieving the 10,000 step goal on this day will be awarded a special Camellia Flower Badge
- Seedlings in your planter pack will grow at 1.5x the usual speed (and more, if you’re flower planting!)
- Receive 1 bonus coin per 250 flowers planted instead of the usual 500 (capped at 60 coins/day)
Additionally, starting with the beginning of Community Day on January 22nd, you will be able to obtain fruits containing camellia nectar with every challenge you clear in the game. However, do remember that you will no longer be able to obtain poinsettia nectar from challenges after this day. If poinsettias are your flower of choice, make sure to stock up while you can. In order for the Camellia Big Flowers to display correctly, and for the badge to be applied to your profile, please update your app to the latest version v36.1 before joining Community Day.
