The Pokémon GO Community Day is a recurring, monthly event that highlights a specific Pokémon, aiming to encourage players worldwide to get out and play together. During each community day, there would be a notable increase in the appearance of the featured Pokémon for a limited duration. Additionally, players would receive an exclusive Community Day move for the final evolution of the Pokémon, along with several other bonuses that they could take advantage of during the event itself. And now, Niantic has announced the dates for some of the upcoming Pokémon GO Community Days in 2024 along with dates for additional in-game events.
Moreover, Community Day Classic activities will be run by Niantic, bringing back previous Community Day Pokemon. Last year, Mareep and Swinub had classic events in Pokémon GO, making it simple for inexperienced players to capture these extremely potent older Pokémon.
