The Pokémon GO Astral Eclipse event will run from Wednesday, November 23, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. through Monday, November 28, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time, according to information released by Niantic. The main attractions of the upcoming Astral Eclipse event are cosmic Pokémon.

Pokémon Debuts
The following will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time:
- Use 100 Cosmog Candy during the day to evolve Cosmoem into Solgaleo, the Sunne Pokémon.
- Use 100 Cosmog Candy at night to evolve Cosmoem into Lunala, the Moone Pokémon.
Special Research
New chapters of the Special Research story A Cosmic Companion will become available to Trainers. Unlock a new part of the Season-long Special Research for another step in the adventure of Cosmog.
Ultra Beast Arrival: Global
The mysterious life forms known as Ultra Beasts have appeared in greater numbers than ever over the past few months. More Ultra Beasts will be making their way during Ultra Beast Arrival: Global!
Nebula skies
For the final time this season, Nebula skies will appear during the Astral Eclipse event.
Encounters
Trainers will be able to encounter the following Pokémon:
- Wild Encounters: The following Pokémon will appear more frequently in the wild.
- Raids
- One-Star: Drifloon, Frillish, Inkay, Rockruff
- Three-Star: Tentacruel, Druddigon, Hisuian Braviary
- Five-Star: Nihilego
- Mega: Mega Houndoom
If Trainers are lucky, they may encounter a Shiny one.
- Field Research task encounters:
