Niantic has announced its Spring into Spring event, taking place in Pokemon GO from Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, April 18, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time. Trainers can look forward to a plethora of “egg-citing” surprises and bonuses.
Togetic, Togekiss, Lopunny, and Tapu Bulu will make their debuts in Pokemon GO
New costumed Pokémon will appear during this event!
The guardian deity of Ula’ula Island, the Legendary Pokémon Tapu Bulu, will also make its debut!
Limited Research day: An Egg-citing Spring Surprise will await for the players
This Research Day will feature 2× Catch XP bonus and Other bonuses from the event will persist as well.

Limited Research tasks will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. Complete them to encounter Exeggcute!
In celebration of the Season of Alola, you’ll be able to evolve Exeggcute during the event to get an Alolan Exeggcutor that knows the Charged Attack Draco Meteor!

During all three hours of the Limited Research day, you can encounter the following Pokémon in the wild.

GO Battle Day: Beginner’s Paradise
From Sunday, April 17, 2022, from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. local time, with the beginner-friendly Great League and Little Cup active, XP from Timed Research available, and an avatar item up for grabs, there’s never been a better time to try out the GO Battle League!
Ula’ula Island Special Research
Available to collect from April 12, 2022, to June 1, 2022, throughout the season, you’ll be able to complete different Special Research lines to learn about each of the islands in Alola. These Special Research lines will be available to collect until the Season ends on June 1!*
If you complete them by June 1, 2022, you’ll unlock a bonus Special Research line at the end of the Season! However, these Special Research lines will be available to collect beginning at 10:00 a.m. local time on specified dates and ending on June 1, 2022, at 9:59 a.m. You can finish a research line anytime after you receive it.

Event Bonuses
There will be 2× Hatch Candy, 2× Lucky Egg Duration, and 1/2 Hatch Distance will be available as bonuses for this event. Also, Team GO Rocket grunts will have more Shadow Whismur and Shadow Exeggcute in their parties.
A flowery Collection Challenge will be available with new stickers
A Collection Challenge to collect themed Pokémon will be available! Complete the challenge to contribute to your Elite Collector medal and earn 2,000 XP, 2,000 Stardust, and an encounter with Togetic wearing a flower crown.
New stickers featuring event-themed Pokémon will be available. You’ll be able to get event-themed stickers by spinning PokéStops, opening Gifts, and purchasing them from the in-game shop. These stickers will be available for the remainder of the Season!
