Pokémon Unite to release globally in September 22, currently open for pre-registration

Back on 24 June 2020, during the Pokémon Presents presentation, Nintendo announced a new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title named Pokémon Unite. The game has been exclusively available for Nintendo Switch users only till now. But the wait for mobile gamers is finally nearing its end as it is finally coming to mobile devices. Both Android and iOS users will be able to download and play the game from September 22nd, 2021. Now that the release date has been announced, the Pre-registration for Pokemon Unite has also kicked off on the App Store and Google Play Store. Moreover, players who pre-register for the game irrespective of being Android or iOS users will receive exclusive incentives when the game launches.

Pokémon Unite will offer cross-platform play for gamers across the world

Unlike previous Pokémon games, Pokémon Unite is a multiplayer online battle royale, or MOBA for short, video game. The game bears a slight resemblance to other popular MOBA titles such as Dota 2 and League of Legends but is set in the Pokémon universe. It is a free-to-play online multiplayer game where players fight a 5v5 play to catch wild Pokémon.

You just have to put your teamwork to the test, and take home the win! Moreover, one of its notable features will be that it will support cross-platform play for gamers across the world. By linking their account on both Nintendo Switch and mobile, players can play the game with their previous saved data and characters. Nintendo Switch and mobile users will be able to play the game together. If a player already has a Pikachu Unite license, he will receive Aeos coins instead.
