Since the teaser of PUBG Mobile Update 0.14.0 during the PMCO Global finals, fans are so excited to know more about this. Finally, last night the official PUBG Mobile twitter tweeted the official release date, putting an end to all the speculations.
When PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 is arriving?
Mr. Vincent Wang, the Global General Manager of PUBG Mobile had announced a few things during the 2nd day of PMCO Global finals. That time he mentioned about the new Erangel 2.0 and the crossover with The Walking Dead. However, he did not mention when the features will come into the game. But after the announcement by PUBG Mobile last night, it is pretty much clear that the features will be arriving with the next update, that is August 14th, 2019.
What are the new features that will arrive with the new PUBG Mobile update?
There will be a bunch of new features that are coming with the new update. So let us take a look at them one by one.
New Zombie game mode: Infection
Although there have been no announcements on PUBG Mobile global or English channels, I have found these from the Korean PUBG Mobile channels. The translation says the new game mode named Infection will be quite different than the modes that the players have played so far. A total of 12 players can join in at a time. A player can either choose to be a Survivor or a Zombie. That is really interesting that, if a player chooses Zombie and kills a player then the dead player will be joining the team of Zombie. As a Zombie, the players can use melee attacks and certain powerups. If the human team survives till the morning then they will win! Also, the photo above you can see the design of the map on where the Infection game mode will be played. Good luck being a zombie, or maybe beating a zombie!
New Pirate theme
A new lobby theme based on Pirate is arriving with this new update. There will also be golden compass around the maps. However, it is still unknown what will be the use of these golden compasses.
Character system in PUBG Mobile
This new update is bringing a brand new character system in PUBG Mobile. Every player will have a character that they can level up. But unlike the normal game modes, the character system is only applicable in the zombie game modes. The players will be able to unlock different perks as they progress their characters.
What else?
So far, these have been confirmed by the Korean PUBG Mobile account. But there have other rumors also. Players might see Erangel 2.0 also in this update. The PUBG Mobile 0.14.0 beta had new levels for some achievements. Helicopter in the lobby, new UI and an option to have a Dog as a companion has been also found in the beta version. However, once the official update releases only then we can confirm if these extra features are arriving or not.
