KRAFTON, Inc., has announced an exciting collaboration between its popular battle royale title, PUBG Mobile, and the legendary K-pop icon G-DRAGON. Scheduled to launch on September 19 on mobile, this global crossover brings in-game content and special events.
PUBG Mobile teams up with global icon G-DRAGON, following the success of past K-pop collabs
Fans of PUBG Mobile are in for a treat as both games team up with global superstar G-DRAGON, affiliated with Galaxy Corporation. Given his massive popularity, this collab is set to attract not just gamers but also music fans worldwide, much like the BABYMONSTER or BLACKPINK ones.
This collab was first teased at G-DRAGON’s Las Vegas concert, where a teaser video introduced him as the face of the partnership. This reveal created huge buzz among the live audience and even fans online, with some fans even saying, “I’m gonna be back in the game coz of GDRAGON.“
You can expect themed events, rewards, and experiences
Although details are still limited, you can still look forward to exclusive in-game content, themed events, and experiences to enjoy. That said, you’ll have to wait until September 19 to enjoy this upcoming crossover, and we can expect to see more details emerging as we get closer to it.
I’m really impressed by PUBG Mobile’s history of collaborations, from car brands like Shelby American and Porsche, to anime like HUNTER×HUNTER, Spy × Family, Dragon Ball Super, and other cool collabs. And just like their previous K-pop collabs, I am pretty hyped for this one too.
