Retro Goal, a retro-style football game, goes free to play on mobile

Want to play games from the 16-bit era?

Developer New Star Games have announced that their retro-styled football title Retro Goal is going free to play on mobile devices in Career mode. The game will continue to provide an ad-free experience, and the players will no longer have to pay to continue playing after the previous limit.

Enjoy 90s-style football with Retro Goal

Developed by the name behind popular award-winning games New Star Soccer and Retro Bowl, Retro Goal was first launched in 2021 for mobile devices. Since then, it has given players an immersive football experience from the 90s, taking back the game to the ones in the 16-bit era, which all of them had once rejoiced.

Being a fast and exciting mix of arcade soccer action and simple team management, it also allows players to customise their game options. With additional weather effects provided and the option to save the players in the Hall of Fame, it allows players to create their own match and memory lane.

Now with the game being free to play, players can enjoy the career mode of the game without paying a penny. However, the players now have the option to purchase an optional “unlimited mode” which has the benefits such as 500 Free Bux, Global Championship tournament mode, additional difficulty options and Season Length options from the free version.

The game is now available for free for both Android and iOS devices. Interested players can get the game from the Android Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
