RISE, a free-to-play Korean MMORPG from NXN, will start a focus group test soon. Yoo Seok-ho, CEO of NXN, holds the authority to conduct the test. The company will invite external professional testers to play the game and check out some features, including game stability, gameplay, and balance. The game will be launched next year on both PC and mobile devices. Gamers are already hyped after watching the trailer as the role-playing game features gameplay like The Witcher. No exact date has been announced yet regarding when the test will take place.
Rise: A highly anticipated MMORPG
“Rise is on track to some extent, so this FGT has been started”, said NXN boss Yoo Seok-ho. The developer team worked with European medieval martial arts masters to present some realistic fighting scenes. The developer of the game NXN said that it won’t be a level-centered game. Rather, the game will feature a strong storyline for the gamers.
The game is being developed for different platforms like PC, console, and mobile. However, it is still not sure if the game will support cross-platform or not. The game gave a hint that it will focus on esports as well. But for a story-based game, it is still unclear how this will enter into esports. Players are assuming that it might introduce a PvP format.
NXN always strives to become a developer that offers interesting games and different experiences to the users. They aim to become a “loved” developer company not only in Korea but also globally. The company’s initial game was “RAVEN”, an action RPG that was released in 2015. In Korean Game Awards, the game won 6 categories. As the trailer showed some insane graphics work and promising fight scenes, gamers can wait for another exciting MMORPG from NXN.
