- Roco Kingdom: World beta went viral after players removed most character outfits.
- Players almost stripped down to their babysuits and walked around with just the basics.
While excitement for Tencent Games’ upcoming creature-collecting MMORPG Roco Kingdom: World is high ahead of its China release on March 26, 2026, the game’s continued beta testing has gone viral for a completely unexpected reason.
Players who had access to the test discovered that during the test phase, the game allowed characters to remove most of their outfits, leading to more of these players running around the world in, well, just their basics. Safe to say, it wasn’t exactly the visual that the developers had in mind.
Roco Kingdom: World have fixed this, much to players’ disappointment
Clips and screenshots quickly spread online showing images of casually exploring the world barefoot and stripped down to minimal clothing, turning what should’ve been a cozy creature-collecting adventure into something straight out of chaos.
The situation got so noticeable that developers stepped in and updated the test build, and now it seems like we can’t remove outfit pieces like tops, bottoms, and shoes. What makes this part even funnier is that players have started complaining about the removals. Taking away the fun, yeah?
Jokes aside, Roco Kingdom: World is still one of Tencent Games’ more interesting upcoming titles ever since its reveal, more now that Kewlbiverse got shut down with any announcement. Developed by MoreFun Studios, the game is a pet-collection adventure that blends creature bonding with open-world exploration.
Set in the colorful Roco universe, you take on the role of a newcomer, collecting and bonding with creatures known as Rocos, exploring the world, and engaging in battles. You can see it as a mix of Pokémon-style collecting with open-world elements, something that has been gaining a lot of traction in recent years.

While this outfit-related incident was clearly unintended, it definitely gave a few players the “interest” to jump in and, you know, get their gears off. I can also coin this as a curious element, that players are actively exploring every possible system, sometimes in ways developers don’t expect.
I get that it happens, you see, especially when you take the “exploration” part very seriously. Hey, don’t be disappointed, though. Roco Kingdom: World still looks promising with all its features. Just maybe with a stricter dress code this time.
