Hidden Lake Games LLC has announced the launch of their new strategy RPG, Roman Empire: Strategy Game, which is now available on Android. There is no information yet regarding an iOS launch.

Roman Empire: Strategy Game is a conquest-focused SRPG set in Ancient Rome. Here, you take charge of your legion, manage your growing empire and build cities from scratch. You get to act as a real Conqueror, turning Rome from a small city-state in Italian peninsula into the greatest civilization.
If you love Roman history as me, this one will be a good pick. I mean, we get to battle through iconic conflicts like The Punic Wars, The Conquest of Gaul, The Spartacus Revolt, Roman Civil Wars, and even Barbarian invasions. And of course, you need to first recruit Roman infantry, cavalry, archers, and legendary heroes to do that.
You can build cities, train armies, research new technologies, and more
The Campaign, Conquest, and Expedition game modes all looks fun, especially Campaign for we get to explore years of Roman history via iconic battles and locations. And while conquering regions across Europe, Africa, and Asia is fun, you also need to upgrade cities with Roman facilities, research new technologies, and more.
Overall, the game looks great if I look it as a fan of Roman history, as you can fight alongside or against legendary figures such as Caesar, Pompey, and more. And the mix of city building, empire management, large-scale wars, diplomacy, alliances, and more, seems great, though I need to try first before judging.
Roman Empire: Strategy Game is now available on Android, and you can now download the game via the Google Play Store. However, iOS users need to wait as there’s no details yet about its launch. Stay tuned for more updates!
