Romans: Age of Caesar soft-launches in selected regions for both Android and iOS

Romans: Age of Caesar, a strategic cooperative city builder, gets a soft launch for both Android and iOS in selected regions. Developed by popular British publisher Firefly Studios, the game will focus on the player rebuilding the Roman Empire and establishing himself as an Emperor of Rome.

Rebuild the eternal city of Rome and claim the emperor’s throne

Already popular among PC players, the game focuses on building the player’s own empire while working on his path to glory. Players get to expand their Roman empire with thousands of other players online with a full co-op experience on offer.

Their main tasks include gathering resources, establishing trade routes, developing critical defenses, and raising powerful troops. This is essential as the players need to protect their city from barbarian invasions. They shall engage in strategic warfare and political planning to get the better of each other. Becoming the Roman emperor means making your name known throughout the empire.

Announced first in 2020, Romans: Age of Caesar saw a PC release last year, and quickly developed of being one of the popular strategy games on the Steam platform. Romans: Age of Caesar is now available in select regions

The game will be a free-to-play game on launch with in-app purchases. Currently, the game is available on both Android & iOS platforms, via the Google Play Store and the App Store respectively.

However, the game can is accessible to players in Australia, New Zealand, and the Philippines as the team opted for a release in selected regions. We feel they’ve should’ve opted for a global soft launch given the success of the PC version of the game.
