Mattel163 Limited has announced their new solitaire-inspired card game Skip-Bo which will be released globally on October 27th, 2021. Back in January 2021, the game was initially released in Canada. After going through several updates, bug fixes, and feedback from playtesters, the game is finally coming out for players across the world. Developed by the makers UNO, Skip-Bo is currently available for pre-registration for Android devices on Google Play Store.
Moreover, this is going to be the third title from Mattel163 Limited after their previous two successful games namely UNO Mobile and Phase 10 Mobile. Mattel163 Limited’s CEO Amy Huang claimed the company as “great” at working its magic on innovating classic board games into mobile-friendly hits.
Enjoy a customised adventure across hundreds of levels in Skip-Bo
The fan-favorite classic Skip-Bo will be a quick, fun, and competitive experience for all card players. Players will travel through different adventures to level up their strategic skills by brainstorming and keeping their minds active. Skip-Bo will be featuring hundreds of levels consisting of a richly illustrated world just outside a village to be explored.
The game offers customized adventure by constantly adding new levels to challenge the players’ card skills. It can be enjoyed both online and offline. Furthermore, the “Adventure Mode” is dedicated for everyone to have fun with full of twists.
As it seems now, Huang has strong grounds to claim so as the company is itself a world-class publishing and development studio from Mattel and NetEase. Also, they have past experiences of successful collaboration with global entertainment phenomenon BTS, leading toy car brand Hot Wheels, and others.
Introducing classic card games like this one to the present generation is great works from Mattel163. As per their plan, we can hope to get more fun and classic titles from them.
The game is now available for pre-registration on Android
