In a major boost for the smartphone games’ catalog, Square Enix has announced two new games from the Trials of Mana franchise that will be hitting both Android and iOS devices. The first one is titled Trials of Mana, a 3D remake of the popular 1995 JRPG, that will be released on July 15th this year and the other one is a free-to-play title named Echoes of Mana and will be launching on smartphone devices sometime in 2022.

1. Trials of Mana
Trials of Mana is a 1995 JRPG which was recently had a remake released under the same name for the PC, Playstation 4, and the Nintendo Switch. Square Enix has now confirmed that Trials of Mana would be hitting mobile devices on the 15th of July, 2021, with some minor adjustments for the platform.
However, the overall gameplay is expected to remain unchanged. The game has shipped over 1 million units for the PC, PS4, and switch. It is expected to be priced at around priced at $23.99 for mobile devices. The game is available for pre-registration on both Play Store and iOS App Store.
2. Echoes of Mana
Echoes of Mana, on the other hand, is a brand few free-to-play RPG that will be coming to mobile devices in 2022. The exact release date for the game has not been confirmed yet. It is expected to feature an original story as well as a host of new characters and recurring ones for Mana fans to enjoy.
Aside from the main story mode, the game will also feature a multiplayer mode. It will allow players to wage war with their friends or against other players around the globe. Unlike Trials of Mana, Echoes of Mana will be a free-to-play game for mobile with some in-app purchases.
