- STARSEED: Asnia Trigger Region Integration was delayed after the team required additional technical and security review.
- Devs confirmed the detected security issue was on a separate PC not connected to the live service servers.
- Investigation found no abnormal access, with player data remaining protected through encryption.
STARSEED: Asnia Trigger devs has announced a follow up update addressing the community’s concerns after the sudden delay of the game’s planned Region integration with the March 5 update. They’ve now provided more details on their investigations along with the current security status of the game.
The devs confirmed after the security check that the issue did not affect the live servers
So, STARSEED: Asnia Trigger was about to have a region integration but the it was delayed from the scheduled date, with the team stating on X(Twitter) that “we identified that additional technical review is required to ensure optimal service performance” which is why they took the decision to avoid potential issues.
Now, the team has shared their findings, revealing that they discovered the security issue on a PC separate from the systems used to run live service. Well, in simple words, the affected device didn’t directly connect to the environment that operates the game servers.
The good news is the team quickly blocked all network access and possible malware entry points after discovering the issue to strengthen security. After that, they reviewed the server access logs in details, and according to the results, “no abnormal access logs or risk factors were found.“
Player data remains secure and devs promises to strengthen monitoring
Also, our data account information remain safe, with the devs protecting player data through encryption to prevent any form of tampering. And, if someone interfere with the data, it would likely cause login issues across the entire service, meaning they can’t selectively alter specific data.
So the devs promises to continue strengthening their monitoring systems to keep the service environment secure and offer a stable gameplay experience. Plus, the team will proceed with the delayed Region Integration once they complete the final security checks. So stay tuned for more details.
