iDreamSky has announced the launch of their next-gen anime shooter, Strinova, now available on both Android and iOS in China. Originally announced in Tencent SPARK 2024, the game previously held a technical beta test on Android in May and is set to launch this year on multiple platforms.
Experience the unique Stringify mechanic and dominate your matches
Strinova has been quite the hype since its PC release, and it has now officially launched in China. This also feels like a solid indication that if it performs well there, we might get the global version very soon. Now, for those unaware, it’s an anime-style tactical shooter offering a unique Stringify mechanic.

In this Overwatch-like title, you can jump in as Superstring Agents and use the Stringify ability to switch between 3D and paper-2D forms during battles. With Valorant Mobile already available in China, I wonder how both titles will compete, though I’m excited to try both.
And from what I’ve seen so far, Strinova looks very fun, offering Valo-style roles, various game modes, a Dormitory system to bond with your favorite Agents, stunning anime visuals, and more. If you’re an Overwatch or Valo fan, you should definitely try this one, not just for its similarities, but for its fresh twist.
How to download Strinova on mobile from anywhere

- For people outside of China, you need to download the old version of TapTap CN, and make sure your device has Android 14 or 15.
- Next, install it on your device and turn off your internet connection.
- Now, open the app, tap on your profile, and once you’re in the profile page, turn on the internet.
- There, sign in via Google with your Gmail, and make sure to skip when it asks for your phone number.
