Players will arrive in Iria, a small nation rich in magical Luxite minerals, on the ancient continent of Rodinia. The journey begins when a player awakens in a dungeon and flees to Convallaria, a town threatened by Iria’s escalating conflicts. As the leader of the Sword of Convallaria Mercenary Group, players must navigate various factions and make difficult decisions to bring peace to Iria.
Throughout the adventure, players will get to build their mercenary group by recruiting companions, teaching skills, forging equipment, researching technology, and accepting missions from various factions.
Strategic gameplay is essential in combat as players deploy powerful allies and navigate terrain elements that can be used to their advantage against enemies. Every battle a player fights in this game and every decision they make will shape Rodinia’s fate.

Sword of ConvallariaĀ was recently spotlightedĀ by JRPG veteran Yasumi Matsuno, best known for directing and producing all-time classics such asĀ Final Fantasy TacticsĀ andĀ Ogre Tactics. In an interview between Matsuno and Lei Guo, the developer ofĀ Sword of Convallaria, Guo shared some fascinating insights about the upcoming game.
Born out of his love for the genre and retro-style pixel art,Ā Sword of ConvallariaĀ already features 300 maps and 1,000 stages with multiple endings for players to unlock, based on the choices they make. Guoās inspirations go far beyond his favorite video games, with elements of the story echoing dramatic moments in history.
