BOLTRAY GAMES, known for Dragon POW!, and more, has launched a closed beta test of their new fantasy RPG, Sword x Staff, now available on Android in the US, UK, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain. There’s no announcement yet regarding iOS or a global launch.
Dive into smart auto-battles with over 200 skills to utilize
Sword x Staff is a fantasy RPG that takes you to the magical land of Kanstein, a place covered in mist and filled with hidden treasures. Here, you begin as a brave adventurer, journeying with the legendary Staff and Sword Twins to face mysterious creatures known as Hieromons and save the land.
What really stands out to me is the ability to experiment with over 200 skills in its dual-class system. You’ll love how it lets you blend techniques, switch elements, and change fighting styles at any moment. Even though I’m not a big fan of idle titles, it’s smart AI with clever dodges, precise targeting, and cool finishers that make your auto-battles fun.
Players can travel with companions and battle enemies
I’m also looking forward to roaming Verdantglade, Cinder Ridge, Aqualis, and Loong Have. Plus, each area has its own adventures, and the idea of traveling with our companions and Fantomons sounds very fun to me. I hope the game releases globally soon, as I can’t wait to laugh, chat, and battle enemies together with them.
Overall, the game looks promising, with its deep character creation option, variety of treasures, adorable companions, smart auto-battle, Chibi-style art, charming visuals, and more. Another cool part I liked is that we can grow stronger just by sleeping.
Sword x Staff is now available in closed beta test on Android in the US, UK, Brazil, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Spain. You can now download the game via the Google Play Store. This is a data-wipe test with limited access and paid content. Stay tuned for more updates!
