T3 Arena Test Season update brings a new map, changes to 5v5 mode, ranked modes, and more

Get ready to rank up in the all-new 5v5 mode and receive free rewards

The action-packed multiplayer third-person shooter game, T3 Arena is constantly advancing by adding new features and elements for its playerbase. The recently launched test season update awaits the release of Stadium Season 1 next month. There have been amazing reworks to the 5v5 mode and ranked mode alongside the launch of a brand new map in the game.

T3 Arena Test Season update brings changes in the 5v5 mode

T3 Arena was officially launched as a 3v3 ability-based multiplayer shooter game. Following successive seasonal updates, the developers teased the addition of a new 5v5 mode which initially made its way into the game as a limited open beta in season 5. The open beta only had 11 heroes to choose from, all came with an additional second active ability. The feature of switching heroes within a match was also provided.

However, the recent reworks in the 5v5 mode have made the gameplay more interesting by including all 26 heroes with new second active skills and new balancing. The ranked matches will now be available only in 5v5 mode, reducing the matchmaking time.

Earlier players had a limited experience with this mode but now with the inclusion of all 26 heroes the potential of the 5v5 challenge is unlocked to its fullest. You can selectively play in either Control or Payload Escort modes as displayed in the 5v5 challenge section.

To address players’ complaints about the growing number of bots in the game, the developers have featured an all-new Advanced Mode option for skilled-based matchmaking. This will ensure that players with similar levels of skills are queued up with zero bots will be assigned to the match. The only downside is the poor match-making time.

In games featuring different modes to play, maps play a crucial role to boost the gaming experience. The test season has introduced a brand-new hybrid map titled Old Medina and will be available in Payload escort mode.

However, it comes with a twist as it combines both the  Control and Payload Escort in one single map. The game progresses into the Escort phase after the Attacking team captures the control point. This map is provided only in 5v5 mode, with a new and bigger Elephant Istana map coming next season.

T3 Arena Test Season update brings changes in Ranked matches

Talking about changes in the ranked matches, you can now unlock it at a much lower trophy level of 75 trophies. This has come with perks as a new Stadium Track system is available where players can unlock free rewards as they progress in ranked plays.

The matchmaking time has also reduced significantly, and players can team up with others of the same league or one higher or lower. Also, new Promotion Matches is introduced when players advance to Diamond rank and above.

An exciting new update Stadium Season 1 is all but set to release after the ongoing Test Season ends on June 6, 2023. The inclusion of a second active ability for heroes is also made available to all players without the requirement of spending t-gems, t-coins, or opening Rumble Boxes.

Many other adjustments and features including a new MVP system, changes to game mode, events, and hero reworks have been included to enhance and diversify the gaming experience. The developers of T3 Arena focus on players’ feedback to make it more engrossing and fun to play.
