The second phase of the biggestย Call Of Duty Mobileย tournament in India theย COD Mobile Indiaย Pro Cupย 2021ย has concluded today, with Team Mayhemย emerging as champions. They defeated S8UL Esports in the best-of-five round finals with a 3-0 scoreline. Call Of Duty Mobile partnered with Indian game streaming giantย Locoย to hostย theย COD Mobile India Cupย featuring a prize pool ofย โน35 Lakhs. The total prize pool of Phase 1 of the COD Mobile India Cup wasย โน10 Lakhsย while the prize pool of phase 2 wasย โน25 lakhs. The COD Mobile India Cup Open stage was won by Godlike Esports. 16 top teams from the first phase qualified for the pro cup, where they were joined by four other invited teams.
COD Mobile India Pro Cup 2021: As it happened
The best players in the different regions went head to head in aย double-elimination bracketย tournament. Team Mayhem was the most successful team in the round-robin format followed by S8UL Esports. Teams played against each other in five modes โย Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Search and Rescue, Domination,ย andย Hardpoint. Finally, four teams made it to the Semi-Finals: Team Mayhem, Heroes Official, S8OUL Esports, and Godlike Esports.
Semifinals
Team Mayhem maintained their impressive form in the Semifinals as well. They crushed Heroes official by 3-0 margin in the Semifinal 1. On the other hand, in Semifinal2, it was S8OUL Esports who emerged victorious as they went on to beat Godlike Esports by a margin of 3-0 as well.
Finals
The COD Mobile India Pro Cup Finals consisted of three matches. The first match of COD Mobile India Pro cup finals was played on the Summit map in Hardpoint mode. Team Mayhem defeated S8UL Esports by a 150-75 scoreline in this match. The second match was played on the Meltdown map in Search and Destroy mode. Team Mayhem’s winning run continued as they defeated their rivals by a 6-2 scoreline. ย The third match was once again won by Team Mayhem with a 150-81 scoreline. It was played on Domination Mode in the Firing Range.
