Fortnite is an action-packed battle royale game from Epic Games. Even after being so well refined and thoroughly inspected before releases, it is common for games to face some bugs after a big update. Fortnite being no exception is also facing some issues after the big launch of Chapter 4 Season 2 MEGA and the issue is that players are welcomed with a blue background in the main lobby instead of the backdrop they are supposed to get when they open the app after the new update.
Fortnite developers are aware of the blue background issue in the game
The official Twitter account of Fortnite Status has notified the users that the developers are already aware of the blue background issue affecting some of the players . They are working on it to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. This was notified by them on March 10, 2023,. There has been no more information about whether this issue is still there or has been fixed.
This big is not something that would ruin the in-game experience of the players. But it does make a first bad impression on all the players who are opening the game for the first time after the update. Even more for players who are opening it for the first time completely in general.
The original lobby image pf Chapter 4 Season 2 features the Mega City
Mega City is the main attraction of the update this season on the map. It perfectly depicts the futuristic Japanese theme of the update. Neon lights and rails are going all around the city along with modernized vehicles which will provide a new kick to the players when they are traveling. So it makes sense why the developers have chosen this as the first thing the players will see when they open the game.
