A new historical strategy game named The Great War Rivals developed and published by eRepublik Labs, an award-winning game developing company from Romania, is now available for early access in several countries.
eRepublik Labs develops various free-to-play multiplayer online games based on historical events including eRepublik, War and Peace: Civil War Clash, and Tactical Heroes. The company has won many awards since 2007 like best European Startup(2007), TechCrunch Pitch (2008).
A game based on characters from World War I
The Great War Rivals is a strategic warfare and building game based on World War I. The characters of the game are based on various historical leaders like Kaiser Wilhelm II, Manfred von Richthofen, and George V. The game allows the players to even build and upgrade their base camps.
The Great War Rivals: Features and Gameplay
The game starts with players choosing a side in World War I either Allied Powers including Japan, Russia, Britain, Italy, and the US, or Central Powers including Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria.
The players can build bases for their army to grow and upgrade it with new buildings like hospitals, training camps, oil refineries, and food supply farms. The troops have to complete the tasks to get upgraded to the next level. The players can even form their own alliance or join an alliance with their friends and fight the battle together.
The players can play the game in their native language as the game features different languages including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish.
