The game will follow a similar setting to the upcoming anime series The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War. In the anime, a war between Erebonia and North Ambria takes place . The story follows the adventures of a girl named Lavian Winslet. The game’s timeline will follow the events that took place in a time skip between the games Trails of Cold Steel II and III.
Lavian Winslet is the granddaughter of Vlad, a renowned hero known for betraying North Ambria. She enlists the help of the largest mercenary group around the Northern Jaegers to reclaim her country’s honor and defend her country in a reckless mission against the Erebonian Empire.
