Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll, based on the kids’ TV series opens pre-registration on Android and iOS

Childhood memories!

Bringing in some educational titles on mobile, pre-registration for Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll, a mobile game inspired by the beloved children’s TV series, is now available on both Android and iOS platforms. The game will be developed and published by StoryToys Entertainment in partnership with Mattel.

Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll explores different characters and their personalities

When I saw the title, memories of my childhood flooded back, and I couldn’t help but reminisce about the days when I adored this show. Thomas & Friends was a cherished part of my childhood, and it’s amazing how a mobile game made me connect back the memories. This marks Mattel’s second collaboration this week, following their partnership with Rollic for the upcoming Barbie mobile game.

This game is marked educational, and given the theme of the TV series, it was bound to go that way. This title sounds more like a “click-and-explore” title, but we will have to wait till it is launched to know better. Of course, we all do have personal choices when it comes to characters and thus the option to choose your favorite character in the game is given. You have the chance to interact with fun actions like turning lights on and off.

Another fun aspect would be the Creator Mode, where you can design tracks with tunnels, ponds, and more where you can have your character travel along your created track. Explore Sodor, complete challenges, and have endless fun in the game. Wind down with a nighttime journey back to Tidmouth Sheds, encountering calming scenes like sleeping animals. If this hits the emotions right, surely it will be one of the best games for kids.

Even though the game caters to kids, the game makes sure you get your inner kid out too. Interested, the Thomas & Friends: Let’s Roll pre-registration is now open for Android and iOS via Google Play Store and App Store. As for the launch date, the store listing suggests April 4, 2024, so even if it launches before the date, pre-order to get notified and download it.
