This post was last updated on

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales, one of the most popular RPG games, has finally made its way to mobile with an iOS release. It has been the norm for many popular video games stepping into the mobile industry with an iOS release first, and Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is the latest addition to the list. Due to the different types of GPU’s that are being integrated on Android, it makes it easier for developers to release games to iOS first. However, Android users need not be disappointed as there’s an Android release scheduled later this year. If you’re a fan of the Witcher, both the series and the console game, then you’re going to be thrilled to finally have the world of the Witcher in the palm of your hands.

They were speculations in the past regarding a Witcher game coming to mobile, and it seems this is it. It may not be an open-world action & adventure like the PC and console version, but it does provide a sense of GWENT from the Witcher card game as well giving you control over the infamous monster slayer.

About the Thronebreaker release on iOs

The official witcher website announced earlier about the release of Thronebreaker on the iOS platform bringing a whole new experience to mobile. The game offers dedicated touch-screen controls that are well balanced and well designed for a handheld platform.

Some of the bonuses include unique ornaments and dozens of cards that can be used during multiplayer battles. Also, Thronebreaker players get to claim Thronebreaker goodies for free. Such are, the concept art from the game, official soundtrack, and an annotated map of Lyria.

Few words about the developers

The game was created by one of the most successful publishers in the gaming industry CD PROJEKT RED. They’re responsible for some of the most popular games ever like The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Thronebreaker tells the tale of Meve, a war-veteran queen of two northern realms – Lyria and Rivia. When they both face an imminent Nilfgaardian invasion that wants to wipe them out, the queen is forced to step inside the warpath once more and embark on a dark journey seeking destruction and revenge.

When will Thronebreaker release on Android?

Thronebreaker is currently available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and just stepped into mobile with iOS. The developers did make it clear that an Android version is in the works and is planned for a late 2020 release.

Currently, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales is available for purchase on the App Store ($9.99), and you need to have at least 4GB free storage space in your device to download to game.

Hi there! There isn't much to know about me, but if you must know, well, I write stuff, and apparently people read them. I'm an Eccentric writer. I write about a lot of stuff, and some of my writing can either cheer you up or piss you off. Either way, humans suck, and if you're reading this, try to suck less in this shit-stream called life.
