TiMi Studio Group and Capcom have announced a closed beta test for their action survival RPG, Monster Hunter Outlanders, set for after mid-November on Android and iOS. Based on the iconic series, the game was revealed in November 2024, though development began in 2022.
Hunt a variety of monsters as a powerful Adventurer, alongside your buddy
If you’re unaware, Monster Hunter Outlanders is a co-op open-world survival game set in the Monster Hunter universe. Here, you’ll get to explore diverse regions, survive against dangerous monsters, craft gear and tools, and, of course, enjoy the thrill of the classic monster hunting experience.
The latest trailer has me even more hyped, as it showcases an unknown island where the story unfolds, featuring intense hunting action against hordes of monsters, while familiar weapon types return with exciting new elements. I liked how they introduced the default protagonist, simply called the Adventurer.
As someone who has followed the series, I feel fans will love the content here. I’m more eager to try the Adventurers, each with their own skills, plus their companions like the exclusive Rutaco and Trillan, alongside the trusty Palico. The addition of Radiant Species intrigues me to see how tough they’ll be.
