TiMi Studios, the developers behind games like Call of Duty Mobile, is now collaborating with Capcom for a Monster Hunter Mobile game, something which gamers have been waiting for eagerly. With Monster Hunter being introduced to the world on the PSP and then the 3DS, it only made sense for the game to make a return to its roots on portable platforms and well, here we are today. A while ago, we brought up some points calling for a title exactly like this, and seeing it actually happen now is worth being excited for.
The Monster Hunter series finally goes back to its roots
This collaboration between TiMi Studios and Capcom was officially confirmed by TiMi Studios themselves as they said in a post that the two studios were “joining forces on a new mobile game for the iconic Monster Hunter series. The in-development game will reproduce the hunting actions that define the Monster Hunter series, and offers players a new game experience unique for mobile devices and phones.”
This is extremely exciting news for fans of the series and with two very capable studios on board, we can expect something high quality. While we don’t have much information right now, we should hopefully hear more from the studios regarding an overview of the game and development updates soon.
The Monster Hunter series has always had a very large following with tens of millions of avid gamers flocking to their titles so there’s quite a bit of demand for another title in the franchise. It should be interesting to see which creative direction the developers go upon with the franchise.
