January 2026 opened the year on a strong note for the mobile gaming market, with familiar giants continuing to dominate across downloads and revenue. While the top positions remained largely stable, there were a few notable shifts in rankings. Here’s a closer look at how the biggest mobile game publishers performed in January 2026.

Miniclip claimed the top spot in January 2026 with 102.9 million downloads, narrowly overtaking Azur Games, which came in second with 99.9 million downloads. Voodoo secured third place with 88.7 million, continuing its consistent performance in the hyper-casual space.

BabyBus remained strong in fourth with 87.2 million downloads, while SayGames rounded out the top five at 79.3 million, maintaining its steady momentum. Outfit7 moved into sixth place with 60.0 million downloads, reflecting continued interest in its evergreen portfolio.

Supercent followed in seventh with 57.5 million, while Supersonic Studios held eighth at 51.1 million. CrazyLabs ranked ninth with 46.5 million downloads, and 1SOFT completed the top ten with 34.9 million.

The remaining positions saw IvyMobile, which made its way into the rankings for the first time, alongside Tencent Games, Garena International, FreePlay Inc., and Hungry Studio, all maintaining a stable presence in the top 15.

On the revenue front, Tencent Games once again stood far above the rest, generating a massive $542.1 million in January, reinforcing its dominance at the top. Century Games retained second place with $202.1 million, continuing its strong start to the year.

Scopely moved into third with $144.9 million, narrowly edging out Dream Games, which followed closely in fourth with $143.4 million. Playrix secured fifth place with $122.6 million, while Funfly held sixth at $118.2 million.

King placed seventh with $109.6 million, ahead of Roblox Corporation at eighth with $106.4 million. Microfun Limited finished ninth with $104.2 million, while NetEase Games completed the top ten at $99.8 million, just shy of the $100 million mark.

The rest of the chart featured familiar names, including Bandai Namco Entertainment, Moon Active, Supercell, Cognosphere (HoYoverse), and Florere Game Limited, all of whom comfortably crossed the $65 million threshold in January.
