The spooky fest of Halloween is fast approaching and Tower of Fantasy is taking this occasion to release some Halloween-exclusive items to celebrate with the new Thorned Rose event. Take part in the event and unlock some exclusive Halloween-themed cosmetics.
The Thorned Rose event is stated to start at 23:00 from October 26 till November 2 at 23:00 (UTC -4). A total of 7 days.
Players can use Rosy Gachapon Coins to obtain rewards in the Thorned Rose event
Just like the previous event, Summer Seabreeze, to view the Thorned Rose event players must first click on the ‘Rewards’ gift-box icon. Afterward, they would see one of the titles called ‘Thorned Rose’ where they will be encountering an Arcade-like crane machine where various rewards are presented on the left, those of which can be obtained by using ‘Rosy Gachapon Coins’.
As the name suggests, this is a purely Gacha Event where the rates are fairly low. The Gachapon coins can be obtained by purchasing from the ‘Limited Gift Pack’ Store with Dark Crystals. If you do not know how to get Dark Crystals faster, check this Dark Crystal farming guide.
Tower of Fantasy Thorned Rose Event: Exclusive Items and Rewards List
Some of the Halloween-themed rewards include:
- Rosy Banquet: New Halloween-themed skins for both the male and female characters
- Rosy Letter: Hat accessory item again for both male and female characters
- Halloween Mi-a: New Mi-a skin
- Night of Fun: Halloween-themed Avatar frame
- Candy Fest: Halloween-themed Chat Bubble
- Pumpkin Enhancement: New Avatar icon
Other various rewards from the event include Gold Nucleus, Red Nucleus, Proof of Purchase, Special Voucher, and more.
Fans expressed their dislike about the new Gachapon event
Many fans in the community have shared their dislike about another Gachapon event where the cosmetics are locked behind paywalls. Some expressed that having to purchase the coins with 100 Dark Crystals is very pricey and suggested either reducing the pricing of the coins or producing difficult and grind-heavy ways where players can earn the coins in the game.
Nonetheless, it seems their concerns are falling into Hotta’s deaf ears as the growing criticisms of their game continue to go by.
