HappyGrace Studio has announced the launch of their new cozy simulation game, Treasure Flea Market, now available on both Android and iOS. First developed in Japan by a two-person indie studio, it is now globally available with full English language support.
Listen to the object’s wishes and fulfill them to bring life to the town
Treasure Flea Market is a management sim with a heartfelt lore about people, forgotten objects, and memories tied to them. Set in Junk Mountain, you play as Sho, a boy who can hear the voices of objects, and with your robot companion Zero, you collect junk, recycle it, and sell your creations at a flea market.
I really like the whole concept, as objects are treated as living things with emotions and wishes rather than just disposable items. Like, you can listen to their wishes, consider about where they truly belong, and what role it wishes to fulfill, and then sent it to its next owner. This alone has taken my attention.
You can experience new encounters and events without any time limits or pressure
As you use the objects as materials, you can design blueprints, repair them, and craft new creations to sell them and slowly rebuild the town. And, it sounds satisfying too as shops, facilities, and scenery change little by little by doing it. Oh, and you also get new encounters and events as more people gather.
So, in my honest opinion, Treasure Flea Market seems a really enjoyable game to unwind with this festive season. First of all, there are no time limits or competitive elements, and secondly, the story-driven experience with strong replay value and a heartwarming message behind it, should be enough to impress you.
