Ultimate Sackboy is the new LittleBigPlanet spin-off by Exient that looks like it is the sequel to the popular PS Vita game Run Sackboy, Run! Which also had its mobile version launched in 2015. The game has still not been announced formally by Sony but has been listed on Google Play since June 2022.

The player will play the game as Sackboy who will take part in the legendary Ultimate Games which are the most prestigious and craziest obstacle running tournament in Craftworld. Players will need to surpass various obstacles and enemies to earn cool rewards and prizes. Ultimate Sackboy is said to offer a lot of customization options to its players so that they can dress in whatever way they want to.
The mechanics of this game is similar to that of Subway Surfers where the players need to flick, swipe and tap to dodge, Slide and jump in the game. Collecting bubbles in the game will allow players to unlock newer stages and clothing options. The game is also said to have enemies from Little Big Planet’s universe though it is not revealed who exactly will it be.
There has been confusion regarding the game’s release
There have been several versions of the game which provided early access options to interested players. A former Sony employee had also stated that they are in plans of releasing an iPhone version of the game.
Amongst so many speculations, nothing official has been announced and even the trailer of the game has been made private on YouTube. The latest gameplay footage of the game had been spotted this week which might be hinting at the fact that the launch date of Ultimate Sackboy is coming closer.
