SQUARE ENIX has announced the shutdown of their tactical RPG, WAR OF THE VISIONS FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS, scheduled for May 29, 2025. Originally unveiled in 2019, the game launched globally on March 25, 2020, and now it is following FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS’s shutdown path.

War Of The Visions Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is a tactical RPG set in the continent of Ardra, featuring an exciting storyline, characters from previous FINAL FANTASY titles, and more. In this game, you can experience the stories of various kingdoms and explore the battle system, job system, and more.
Unfortunately, the WAR OF THE VISIONS FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS team announced on X that the game would shutdown on May 29, 2025, stating, “We’ve come to the conclusion that it would be difficult to maintain a satisfactory app experience, and therefore to discontinue the app service.”
You can use any remaining Visiore until the EOS happens in May
Following this announcement, the game has disabled Visiore and Special Shop Sales, but you can continue using any remaining Visiore you have until the final day. Moreover, various in-game events are also planned until the termination date, so enjoy the last moments.
Sadly, the game is not offering refunds, and the option to exchange Google Play Points for items ends on April 30, 2025. It’s sad to see so many FF titles shutting down, including FF BRAVE EXVIUS’s global version, FF Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition on iOS, and more.
