The shut down announcements are getting out of hand as another title joins that list with Square Enix deciding to end one of its highly popular RPG FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS. The global version of the game will end its service on October 30, 2024, after eight years of its stellar run.
Difficulty in maintaining the app service was the reason behind the EOS of FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS
The shut down of FINAL FANTASY BRAVE EXVIUS was a difficult decision, as confirmed via the official announcement. The development team mentioned that aiming to deliver an “incredible and enjoyable gaming experience” was their priority. However, despite their efforts, the team has determined that it is no longer feasible to maintain the app experience, leading to this tough decision.
As mentioned in the title, the global version will be the only game that will be bidding its goodbyes. Meanwhile, Japanese players do not fret as the game will continue running in the region and confirm that is the arrival of Season 5 to the game.
Ever since its official launch on June 30, 2016, the game managed to bring in a classic RPG experience with an all-new story and familiar characters from the hit FINAL FANTASY series. Set in the world of Lapis, you can engage in strategic battles, explore vast dungeons, and compete in PvP arenas in the game. These features, combined with its nostalgic appeal, were listed as one of the best RPG games on mobile.
As the end of the service draws near, players are being kept in the loop about important dates as Lapis and bundle sales are stopped as of August 29, 2024. However, you can continue using any Lapis you currently hold until the final day. In-game events will be updated until the service concludes. After the app service ends on the mentioned date, all global player accounts will be deleted.
