Warframe Mobile, the mobile version of Digital Extreme’s hit action title is all set to gear up for a new Closed Beta Test, and looks like this test will be exclusive to Android for now. The game previously opened pre-registrations on the iOS platform following a closed beta test for the same platform last year.
The schedule for the Warframe Mobile Android closed beta test hasn’t been announced yet
Warframe was originally released for Windows PC in 2013, it expanded to platforms like PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox before confirming a mobile title in 2021. Following an iOS closed beta test in 2022, the game will arrive with optional cross-progression and cross-play functionalities. Warframe offers an immersive cinematic narrative spanning 5 expansions and over 30 story-driven quests in the Origin System.
Coming to the test details, you can sign up by providing your Warframe account and device information, which gives you a chance to be selected for the upcoming Android Closed Beta. The steps are given below:
- To participate in the test, ensure you possess a Warframe account. If you don’t have one, create an account here.
- Afterward, log in to the website once more.
- Clicking on a link given will direct you to the Closed Beta Test (CBT) page, where you should locate and click the Opt-In button.
That’s it! If you are chosen, you’ll receive an invitation, which will be sent to the email addresses associated with the accounts. Some users are currently facing regional restrictions while opting in, so this test might be in limited regions which hasn’t been mentioned. For now, there is no schedule announced for the CBT, so stay tuned for updates.
Now, coming to the release date, they have made it clear that the Android version of Warframe is scheduled to debut later than the iOS version. So, if in case the game launches on February 20, 2024, according to the iOS store page listing, the Android release will not be on that day.
