Activision Publishing, Inc. has announced that they are updating the minimum device requirement for their battle royale title, COD Warzone Mobile to meet higher standards. The game is bringing several innovative improvements and meaningful technical advancements, including the new Omnimovement feature, designed to improve the overall gameplay experience.
The new update promises graphical enhancements and QoL improvements in the future
COD Warzone Mobile announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that they are updating the minimum requirement to run the game, a change that made a few fans happy although there are plenty of negative responses to this announcement.
According to the devs, this minimum requirement update is essential to support future updates and integrations with the Call of Duty franchise. They plan to introduce shared features like Omnimovement and connected content with BO6/WZ S1, along with quality-of-life updates. Hence, they have decided to declutter the low-end devices to not compromise the gameplay experience.
Players will receive compensation in CoD Mobile if their device fails to meet Warzone Mobile’s specifications
