Lolcito Salvaje is one of the official tournament circuits by Riot Games to determine a regional champion for the upcoming Wild Rift World Championship. Lolcito Salvaje Abierto is the first edition of the circuit, also known as Wild Open, which was announced on June 11, 2021, and is soon to conduct its finals. After the sub-regional qualifiers (north and south), the top four teams from both the region will gather in Mexico City for the LAN event. Artz Pedregal has been set as the venue of this tournament.
Wild Rift Lolcito Salvaje Abierto 2021 finals: Schedule and Format
Lolcito Salvaje Abierto 2021 finals will start on September 23. The four-day tournament will come to an end on 26 September. The top team from each region will directly play in the semi-final, second-positioned teams will play the round of six, and the initial stage of the tournament will feature the rest four teams (3rd and 4th from each region). Following a single-elimination play, all matches will be played in a best-of-five (Bo5) format.
Participating teams
Four teams from each sub-regions (north and south), making a total of eight teams, have qualified for the event. Teams will face each other to climb the ladder to the trophy and a share of the prize money. The participating teams are as follows.

A massive $50,000 will be divided among the teams based on their position. The share of each team is given below.
- Champion: $20,000
- 2nd placed: $10,000
- 3rd placed: $5,000
- 4th placed: $5,000
- 5th-8th placed: $2,500
Wild Rift esports has already marked a great impact on the mobile esports world on its short journey. The first official circuits are a stage for the teams to debut themselves as emerging powers. Though the seed of this event is not revealed yet, fans can hope to watch at least a team participate in the WR Worlds.
