Wild Rift Origin Series 2021: Registration, Prize Pool, Format, Schedule, and more

Wild Rift's intercontinental esports circuit begins now

Riot Games, developers of the popular MOBA game League of Legends: Wild Rift have announced their inaugural League of Legends: Wild Rift: Origin Series 2021, which will witness the best of the best players pit against each other. The esports competition is open for the Wild Rift players situated across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regions.

Format of Wild Rift Origin Series 2021

Monthly Qualifiers

Wild Rift Players will participate in the monthly, best-of-three double elimination competitions, which will be running across June, July, and August. The first of the Open Qualifier Weekends will then take place on 5-6 June, with the second phase on 12-13 June.

Monthly Finals

16 Teams from each group will battle for the Qualifier Playoffs on 21-24 June, which will be broadcast live on specific platforms. Details for July, August, and other stages will be confirmed at a later date.

Finals

After the monthly qualifications, this will be eventually leading to the Wild Rift Origin Series 2021 offline finals in September 2021. And the winning teams will walk away not only as of the first-ever League of Legends: Wild Rift: Origin Series champions for Europe & MENA, but also take home a piece of the grand €300,000 prize pool.

Registrations and Eligibility

Registrations are open from today, dated 20 May 2021, until 1 June 2021 for teams that want to take part in the first monthly qualifier, so register on the official site to ensure you get your place.

Eligible teams must have at least three members living in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) regions. All the participating players must be aged 17 or over to compete in the tournament. Here’s a full list of eligible countries:
