Wild Rift has released the Patch 2.3a Patch Update which has introduced several new skins, adjusting champion stats, items, and spells. The patch notes would be released throughout the patch. In this article, we will look at the changes in the champions, examine the buffs and nerfs in the 2.3a Patch Update and dive into the all-new Pool Party event!
New Event
Pool Party
The pool party event will begin on the date of 17th June at 00:01 UTC.
New Skins
- Pool Party Fiora
- Pool Party Lee Sin
- Pool Party Leona
- Pool Party Lulu
- Pool Party Orianna
- Pool Party Renekton
These skins would be released on the 17th of June at 00.01 UTC. Additionally, Galaxy Slayer Zed skin will be available from June 24.
New Accessories
- Emotes: I’m On Duty, Mullet Over, Too Cool For Pool.
- Icons: Sun’s Out Guns Out.
A bunch of other accessories would also be available at different stores. All accessories will be released throughout the patch.
Champion Adjustments in the Wild Rift Patch 2.3a Update
Nerfed Champions
Ahri
Ahri was easily charming her enemies with good attacking stats. The base stats have been adjusted.
Base Stats
- Base Armor: 35 → 30
Evelynn
Evelynn was easily stealing objectives using her ultimate. Therefore, the execute damage will now be applicable for the champions only.
Last Caress-(Ult)
- [NEW] 250% execute damage now only applies to the champions.
Janna
Zephyr- Skill 2
- Base Damage: 65/125/185/245 → 55/105/155/205
Katarina
Voracity- Passive
- AP Ratio: 0.58 – 1.0 based on level → 0.48 – 0.9 based on level
Death Lotus-(Ult)
- [NEW] Katarina’s base movement speed will now be set at 125 when spinning instead of being treated as a slow that could be reduced by slow resistance.
Buffed Champions
Leona
Zenith Blade- Skill 3
- Range: 7.5 → 8
Wukong
Wukong is still struggling in laning phase, so a minor buff will support him in the lanes.
Crushing Blow- Skill 1
- Healing when hitting minions: 50% → 80%
Xin Zhao
Base Stats
- Magic Resist: 30 → 38
- Health Gained per Level-Up: 105 → 115
- Health at Level 15: 2120 → 2260

Bami’s Cinder
- Minion and monster damage modification: 50% → 25%
Sunfire Aegis
- Minion and monster damage modification: 50% → 25%
Winter’s Approach
Mana Charge: Mana granted: 8 → 12
Summoner Spells
Ignite
- Cast Range: 5.5 → 6
Smite
[NEW] Passive: Restores 4 mana per second while in jungle or river
System Changes
Outer Tower Gold
The outer tower gold distribution is to be distributed locally for champions performing better in lanes.
- Gold per plate: 100g → 150g
- Global gold on destruction: 150g → 100g
Jungle
Gromp
- Health: 2500 → 2200
Krugs
- Ancient Krug Health: 1600 → 1200
- Krug Health: 600 → 500
