Riot’s newest partnership with Singtel brings mobile gaming to another level. Singtel is offering data-free consumption for those who subscribe to their RiotGO or RiotGO+ services in Singapore. This will not only allow Wild Rift players to climb the ranks independently of their data package but also adds in loads of in-game bonuses like free champs, emotes, and even recall animations in League of Legends: Wild Rift.
What do you get in the RiotGO service?
The RiotGO bundles will come in two variants: RiotGO and RiotGO+. Although both of them offer data-free gameplay, players can summon their champions at the Rift without sweating about how much they have consumed from their mobile data. Alongside the limitless in-game plan, the consumer gets much in-game content. Here is where RiotGO+ shines – they offer $40 worth of content plus an extra 1GB of data for the players. The in-game content rotates on a 30-day cycle from the date you subscribed for the plan. The exclusive icon rotates every calendar quarter or after every three months in either of the plans.
How much do you need to pay for the RiotGO service?
Everything comes with a price, and this service is also one of them. Players will have to fork out $6.90 a month to subscribe to RiotGO, while RiotGO+ is just a bit more expensive at $9.90 a month.
Both the plans offer one free month to the usual 4G customers, and three free months for 5G ones. Either way, you’ll be getting pretty good value out of either package you choose to be in.
Things you must know before choosing your plan!
Now before availing the RiotGO service, there are certain things you must know. This will give you a clearer picture of what you are about to step onto in the game.
- The plan is available to postpaid mobile customers through the Singtel app.
- Data-free gameplay may not cover data usage required to updating the Wild Rift app.
- Customers can only subscribe to RiotGO or RiotGO+, not both.
- Unsubscription is available at any time, with the benefits removed immediately. The in-game benefits will still be present until the bundle expires.
- If you do unsubscribe from the service at any point of time, a subscription option is available again without the promotional price.
