World of Goo Remastered is set to launch exclusively on Netflix for Android and iOS on May 23, 2023

The good-ol' puzzler, but remastered!

Tomorrow Corporation has announced that the remastered edition of the popular puzzle title World of Goo will be available for Android and iOS devices via Netflix Games, and will be available for free for players with subscriptions starting from May 23, 2023.

The existing classic edition of World of Goo will be unlisted on May 11

First launched in 2008, World of Goo is currently accessible on a variety of platforms, including Windows, macOS, Linux, Wii, iOS, and Android. With quirky visual style gameplay, the game takes place in a world made entirely out of goo balls.

The makers have confirmed that the game has been remastered to function on the latest devices and updates around. An additional confirmation is that all art has been doubled in definition, and you can play across all your mobile devices with the cloud-saving feature. The game will remain free of commercials and in-app purchases, much to the delight of the fans.

However, with the announcement of the remastered edition, on May 11, the existing classic edition of World of Goo will be delisted from App Store and Google Play Store, but it will remain available for re-download to those who have already purchased it. World of Goo Remastered will be available on Netflix Games in a variety of languages, including English, Spanish, French, German, and more.

World of Goo Remastered will be accessible on iOS and Android smartphones via Netfix’s gaming platform on May 23rd. If you are having a Netflix subscription, you can play the game for free.
