Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 “Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows” update will release on March 19, 2026

Kuro Games has revealed that Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 update, titled “Resolution to Illuminate the Shadows” will launch on March 19, 2026. This update brings new Main Quests, Resonator, high difficulty recurring challenges, tactical Hologram challenge, Optimizations, and more. WuWa Version 3.2 Update: Resonators and Weapons

As usual, the version 3.2 update will roll out in two banner phases, including both new and returning Resonators. You can check our 3.2 Banner Schedule Details for more details on this.

So, Sigrika is the only new 5-Star Resonator arriving in Wuthering Waves with the Version 3.2 update, and you can pull her through the When the Runes Glitter banner. Along with her comes her signature weapon Solsworn Ciphers.

Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 Update brings new Main Quests and Liveries

With the upcoming update, the game will also introduce two Main Quests, which are as follows:

• Chapter III Act IV Gold Suspended in Shadows.
• Segue: Afterstory Rabbit Reflected in Shades.

Besides the Main Quests, you’ll be able to obtain the following Expedition Motorbike Collab Livery bundles (Persona 5 Royal) from the store: QUEEN and VIOLET. This will arrive on April 9 and last until April 29.

Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 Update brings new challenges

So, you can look forward to two challenges this coming update.

1. Endstate Matrix – New high difficulty recurring challenge

Now, Endstate Matrix is updated as Challenge Cycles with each cycle containing various Challenge Stages. And, the first one is called Endstate Matrix: Doomsday Cycle, which will start from this coming version and run until Version 3.4.

2. Tactical Hologram Challenge

So, for the new Tactical Hologram Challenge, the game introduces Tactical Hologram: Hyvatia.

New Special Event arriving with WuWa Version 3.2 Update

Like every update, the game is also introducing a variety of special events in this upcoming update. Here’s a concise overview of each event:​

• Soar to the Beat: Rhythm Challenge Event.
• Gifts of Solsworn: 7-Days Login Event.
• Knights of the Wild: Featured Challenge Event.
• Lahai-Roi Blocks: Leisure Event.
• Speed Up! F.U.E.L. Instrumentality Project!: Leisure Event.
• The Flaming Red in Memory: Showcase Event.
• Whispers Between Stars: Permanent Event.

So, Wuthering Waves has revealed a special collaboration with Muse Dash, and thanks to that, you can enjoy classic Muse Dash tracks like Drizzle & Dolce, Final Step!, and Cthugha, in the Soar to the Beat event.

Optimizations coming with the Wuthering Waves Version 3.2 update

Apart from the main content, WuWa’s version 3.2 update is also bringing several optimizations to improve your gameplay experience. Here’s a look at the key improvements:

• Gaming Experience: You’ll be able to claim reward directly for Resonators in the Resonator trial event, provided you completed the trials in previous versions. So, you won’t have to repeat the challenges.
• Expedition Motorbike Experience: So, the game has optimized the obstacle-avoidance logic in autopilot mode to decrease the sudden turns that you face while driving due to overly sensitive detection. Besides this, the chassis adaptability is also optimized so that you don’t get stuck on small bumps or uneven terrain.
• Echo Upgrade and Management: They’ve now adjusted the underlying logic of Echo management to let you edit plans based on Sonata Effect and introduced a feature that now allows the sharing and importing of Echo management plans with a plan code. Also added Smart Discard and optimized Echo Backpack.
• Graphics and Performance: Good news for Rovers with good phones that has high performance, as the game introduced the High Quality option. For PC, they’ve added the adjustable Render Distance, and you can also customize this setting as per your preference and hardware.
