HoYoverse has revealed that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4, titled “On the Precipice of the Abyss“, will launch on November 26, 2025. This update will kick off new story developments, two new agents, two Bangboo companions, various events, returning favorites, and more.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4 expands the story with new mysteries
In version 2.4, after narrowly averting catastrophes beneath Timesworn Hill, you’ll partner with Krampus Compliance Authority, a TOPS-affiliated enforcement group responsible for enforcing order. With their intervention, you not only prevented disaster but also uncovered unexpected visions within Yidhari’s dreamscape.
Among these visions, Sarah appears alongside Ye Shiyuan, a senior member of Yunkui Summit, who was never expected to be connected to the Exaltists or their Creator. This raises more questions. At the same time, his sister, Ye Shunguang, became the new master of the Qingming Sword and joined you to uncover the truth together.

ZZZ Version 2.4 update will feature two new S-tier agents and returning favorites
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.2 brings two powerful new S-Tier agents from the Krampus Compliance Authority and the return of two fan-favorite characters.
1. Dialyn
Dailyn, an S-Rank Physical Stun Agent, is a quirky customer service specialist who fights using two unique resources, named Customer Complaint and Positive Review. She can stun enemies and instantly pull teammates into the action by triggering their Ultimate abilities.
2. Banyue
Next, the S-Rank Fire Rupture Agent, Banyue, joins her as a Martial Arts master who has merged countless techniques into a fluid hybrid form. And his kit focuses on alternating power between Adrenaline and Wrathful Fires to maintain fast, continuous combos. So, you can enjoy rhythmic fights.
3. Two New Bangboo
In this version, you’re getting two Bangboo companions:
- Birkblick: It features a sensor unit that transforms into a mobile cannon capable of scanning and bombarding enemies.
- Bild N. Boolok: This one, on the other hand, can directly smash enemies with a massive block hammer.
Oh, and for Version 2.2, fan-favorites like Ice Attack Agents, Hugo, and Ellen also return, giving you one more chance to recruit them.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4 brings new events
Another cool part is that this update also revives the beloved Bangboo Auto Chess mode, En-Nah Chess Saga, with new features. It now includes dedicated PvE special stages and exclusive rewards. Moreover, you’ll also get a chance to obtain the new Bangboo Bild N. Boolok for free.
Along with it, a lighter event called Lightstream Notes also appears in this version 2.4, letting you spend time exploring New Eridu with Ye Shunguang. It offers small slices of everyday life that bring warmth to deepening shadows.
