Zynga’s Star Wars Hunters is set to release on mobile devices later this year

Inspired by classic Star Wars stories and settings, but with a different look and feel

Zynga Inc and Lucasfilm Games announced their new game based on Star Wars. The new title named Star Wars Hunters is set to release on mobile devices and Nintendo Switch later in 2021. So get ready to engage in thrilling, team-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters. The exact launch date remains unknown but it would probably be released later this year. In case you do not yet, Zynga is a social game developer based out of San Francisco known for popular games like Farmville.

The game is set in the iconic Star Wars universe

Star Wars Hunters is a competitive arena combat game. It is set after the fall of the Galactic Empire and will see players battling in real-time in settings that draw inspiration from iconic Star Wars locations. Player’s squads will be made up of a variety of unusual characters that include bounty hunters, heroes of the Rebellion, and Imperial stormtroopers. You can check the teaser trailer below.

When Star War Hunters will release globally?

According to Douglas Reilly, VP of Lucasfilm Games, “Star Wars: Hunters is inspired by classic Star Wars stories and settings, but with a look and feel that is different from anything we have done before”. Star Wars: Hunters is set to release on the App Store, Google Play, and Nintendo Switch later this year. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
