If you think KONAMI’s eFootball 2024 had nothing to offer following a few lackluster updates, you had it all wrong. eFootball 2024 has come with a new Season 7 update named the ‘King of the Continent‘ that is also part of the version 3.6.0 update, which follows the themes of the highly awaited EURO 2024 and the Copa America 2024 tournaments. This brings a lot of new tactical features to the game, including Individual Instructions, Set Piece Strategies, special players coming, and more, which I will list the details here.
eFootball 2024 Season 7 update overview
King of the Continent Campaign
One of the biggest reasons to be part of the Season updates is Campaign events. Well, this time, we have a lot on offer. Use Chance Deals obtained during the campaign to contract the highest-rated players from Argentina and France highlight, which introduces five-star players.
For those who want some gameplay, you will be available to participate in the European Cup 2024 and American Cup 2024 through VS AI Matches. In each one of them, the two themed events that will be contested are a League Event followed by a Knockout Event. The ranking within a team, according to order is to be determined by calculating the total number of goals scored by the users whereas the rewards are assigned according to the final ranking of each competition.
The Golden Goal event will also make a comeback. As usual, Daily Login events are here! Log in seven times during each campaign period to earn up to 21 Exp. 10,000 Training Programs. As part of the campaign, you will also be getting an eFootball Aegis kit.
New Gameplay Features: Individual Instructions and Set Piece Strategies
These are some of the most tactical changes you will see in the game. Individual Instructions and Set Piece Strategies are now part of the game, which is a good test of your tactical skills as well. For Individual Instructions, you can follow specific instructions to optimize both attacking and defensive strategies. For Set Pieces you can have multiple settings, be it for Corners, Free Kicks, and others. I will be explaining both in detailed guides later on.
New Feature: Badges
One more new non-gameplay feature is Badges. From the latest update, you can earn Badges in eFootball 2024 by completing various objectives. The different grades of Badges reflect how hard they are to get. You display up to three Badges in your User Details. Some badges will be available for a limited time only. These, for example, may be associated with certain events.
New Players
In the database, some new players have been added to the database. This is not official, however, and there might be some changes, but usually, they chip in right. However, the official confirmation is that Andrea Pirlo, Xabi Alonso, and Sakai will be coming to the game. Release dates are not known, but keep an eye on my article featuring the list of upcoming Epic and Big Time cards to keep an eye.
