Honor of Kings, the beloved MOBA, allows fans to change regions in-game for a better gameplay experience. So, in this Honor of Kings Changing Region guide, I’ll show you how easily you can switch to your current in-game region in HOK. So without further ado, let’s get started!

Honor of Kings Changing Region feature: Overview

So, Honor of Kings offers a variety of in-game features and the Changing Region one lets you switch your registered region to a different one. Now, this feature is especially useful if you’ve recently relocated or your country just got a regional launch, like the recent India release for example which had over a million pre-registrations.

I personally like this feature as helps us avoid net lag or mismatched servers matches as it can really hamper our experience. That said, you can change your server only once every 180 days, so do select the region carefully or you’ll be stuck for six months in a server you don’t want to play in.

How to change your region in Honor of Kings

Now, if you’re planning to switch your in-game region, just follow these simple steps:

• First, launch the game on your mobile device.
• Now, tap on your Profile at the top left corner.
• Hear, head to Settings at the top right corner.
• You’ll find various options like UID, Info, Player Support, and more.
• Just select Player Support.

• This will redirect you to a new interface.
• Now, under Shortcut Tools, tap on Changing Region.
• Then tap on Got It, choose your desired region, and hit Next.
• Finally, tap on Change and you’ll be in the new region once the game restarts.

As you can see, the process is really simple and won’t even take a lot of time if you follow every steps above properly. With this, you won’t be having troubles with net lags and such.

Things to remember before changing your region in HOK

So, before you switch regions, you should know few important things.

• First of all, when you change your registered region, certain assets like heroes and skins that are not yet live in that specific country will not be usable until they’re officially release there. For example, the new India server.
• Next, make sure you’re not in a team lobby or currently in matchmaking while trying to change your region.
• Another thing to remember is that you won’t appear on leaderboards for 7 days after the region switch.
• You’ll also automatically shift to the chat channel of your new region.
• Plus, all events content will be based on your newly selected region, so change accordingly.
