It is the season of updates, they say, and what better can it get than Outfit7 giving us new content to two of its amazing titles, My Talking Tom Friends and My Talking Tom 2, to have fun with. A coordinated March 2026 update goes live for both My Talking Tom Friends and My Talking Tom 2, and it is a beautiful redesign of the familiar spaces in the game.

While a second floor has been added to My Talking Tom Friends, which gives you a chance to climb up some stairs and explore, My Talking Tom 2 brings a fun expansion to its bathroom gameplay that brings some mini-games for your multi-step care routine. I know there’s a lot of excitement to know all the content, so here I am suggesting five features worth checking out across both games.

1. A second floor expands gameplay in My Talking Tom Friends

My Talking Tom Friends introduces a second floor for the first time, allowing players to move between upstairs and downstairs areas and explore the house in a completely new way.

You can now explore the second floor, making the home feel more complete and providing more room to explore around.

Again, it isn’t just for visuals; you can interact there as well with moving around, because there’s something more to explore, which will be our second fantastic feature.

2. A redesigned living flow

With the new floor comes a reshuffle. The bedroom, wardrobe, and even the bathroom are now upstairs. So yes, no more cramped downstairs feeling.

With this change, it also makes customization more enjoyable. Dressing up Talking Tom, Talking Angela, Talking Hank, Talking Ben, Talking Becca, and Talking Ginger, and managing their routines now happens in a more dedicated space, instead of everything being packed into one level.

3. Interactive environmental control

The excitement of the My Talking Tom Friends updates doesn’t stop here, as the developers have also made sure that with the second floor’s addition, the downstairs isn’t left behind. What they have achieved here is something amazing: the environmental interactions.

So what does it do? One of the more fun additions is the ability to change the weather in outdoor areas like the garden. Want some sun out there? You can do that now without waiting for it. 

To note that they are already planning for an additional expansion planned this Summer and this is just Part 1; things are going to be much more exciting.

4. Mini games that bring in multi-step care routines in My Talking Tom 2 

My Talking Tom 2 has its fun share of additions, too. The major addition is the bathroom, which gets a fun upgrade. Instead of simple actions, you now go through structured, multi-step care routines. 

The game will take you through interactive treatment scenarios, which will unfold across different stages. This can be dental cleaning of our little friend, treating those broken bone injuries, relieving his stomach aches, or helping Tom recover from the flu.

5. Bathroom interactions with a cabinet shop

Once Tom is all better, the fun doesn’t stop. The bathroom now includes interactive items you can experiment with. There will be plungers, a toilet fishing activity to surprise floods, and gadget reactions.

There’s also a new Bathroom Cabinet shop, making it easier to access and try different items during gameplay. So much fun is packed inside one, so you should definitely check it out.
