One of the most exciting additions is a new gameplay mode titled “Frozen Sea Showdown“. This new game mode will be featuring a 4v4 lobby, where each team has to battle it out against each other using only Franco, the Frozen Warrior! In this article, I’d be guiding you through this new exciting gameplay mode, giving you tips on how to win.
Mobile Legends Frozen Sea Showdown Mode: Overview
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang’s Frozen Sea Showdown Mode is coming soon and will be bringing with it new exciting gameplay mechanics. In this 4v4 lobby matchup, each team gets to use only Franco with the goal being – The First Team to get 30 Kills Wins! To win this players are thrown into a Chaotic Frenzy where only the most skilled wins.
The Frozen Sea Showdown Mode comes with some exciting buffs and gameplay mechanics that makes the mode more interesting to play. Some of the exciting gameplay features are:
- Each Franco uses an Extended hook that is twice as long as normal.
- The Frozen Sea Showdown has a special map which is much smaller than the main MLBB map. Allowing for more intense and chaotic battles.
- You can pick at random powerful buffs and abilities that’d give you an edge in the battlefield.
- 3 Hooks Buff allows your Franco to throw out 3 Hooks at once. Lolita’s Shield allows you to deflect enemy’s hooks, while Eudora’s Ultimate allows you to deal massive AOE damage to enemies from a distance.
- In this mode, your Franco’s stats and damage output are enhanced. It mostly takes a hook and one or two hits to takedown an enemy early-on.
- First team to reach 30 kills wins.
- Kill Crabs for bonus Gold and some exp, while opening Chests grants extra abilities.
Mobile Legends Frozen Sea Showdown Gameplay Tips
To scale through this exciting new gameplay mode, here are some gameplay tips to note beforehand:
- Ensure to constantly open the Chests to unlock powerful abilities. These Chests are found on random parts of the map usually around the middle. However, do be careful as you might get hooked while going for the chest.
- Use Triple Hooks ability to hook multiple enemies since the hooks spread out making it easier to catch your target.
- Use Lolita’s Shield to protect both you and your teammates from incoming Hooks. Deflected hooks will draw the caster to yourself, making it easier for you to takedown the enemy.
- Using abilities like Conceal around your teammates, is great for ambushing the enemy.
- Secure Kills or Assists on enemies to get bonus Exp. The higher your Level the more stronger and tankier your Franco becomes.
- Utilize the bushes on the map, to provide cover and surprise when aiming for an enemy.
- Avoid getting too big as a Bigger Franco is an easier catch.
When will the Frozen Sea Showdown Mode release in MLBB?
The Frozen Sea Showdown Mode will be coming to the MLBB Global Server this April 2026. The date has not been specified yet, but it is coming really soon.
