HoYoverse has revealed that Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6, titled “Encore for an Old Dream“, will launch on February 6, 2026. This update serves as the interlude after Season 2’s dramatic conclusion, bringing Gilded Carrot Day festivities, Angels of Delusion idol group debut, new Agents, events, and more.

Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 returns to Sixth Street with a heartfelt story
So, as the Gilded Carrot Day approaches, New Eridu lights up with celebration, though there’s still a sense of uneasy lingering beneath the surface. In version 2.6, the Phaethon siblings are pulled into an urgent commission involving an illegal intelligent entity, which brings them back to Sixth Street and reunite with Jane Doe.
That said, I’m excited for the Angels of Delusion idol group, who’re preparing for their first live performance in the iconic 404 Error music venue. I mean, it’s really cool that the members of this group can perform coordinated attacks, and I can’t wait to meet the new Agents.
ZZZ Version 2.6 update will feature two new S-tier agents and a Bangboo
Zenless Zone Zero Version brings two powerful new S-Rank agents with the Version 2.6 update, and they’re as follows:
1. Sunna
So, Sunna, an S-Rank Physical Support agent specializes in empowering Attack and Anomaly allies. She even has a companion called Bubblegum that can mark enemies with Cat’s Gaze, and you can detonate it for damage while also providing Attack buffs to your squad. Her Ultimate is equally cool, as you can unleash a hammer strike and pulling allies into battle via a Quick Assist.
2. Aria
Alongside her comes Aria, an Ether Anomaly agent with two distinct battle forms and also the group’s lead vocalist. So, you get a construct form and an idol projection and she is great at dealing burst damage to enemies affected by Attribute Anomalies. You can also easily use charge attacks to dominate close-range battles.
3. New Bangboo: Biggest Fan
Supporting them is the new Bangboo, Biggest Fan, whose constant encouragement restore their HP and increase Attack when multiple Angels of Delusion members are on your team.
That said, both Sunna and Aria will get new outfits, and I’m more excited about Aria’s one, as it will feature a unique dual-form design. Now, for Version 2.6’s rerun banners, you can look forward to S-Rank agents Yixuan (Auric Ink – Rupture) and Yuzuha (Physical – Support).
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 brings new events and rewards
Like all the previous version updates, you can also look forward to various events, with the main one of this being A Harmony of Delusions. You’ll work as backstage staff supporting the Angels of Delusion, and do everything from managing training schedules, handling social media tasks.
You also need to make them rise through rhythm-based gameplay. Oh, it also expands the Marcel adventure with new maps and mechanics.
More events and rewards:
- Hollow Zero gets a new game mode called the Operation Matrix, featuring weekly rotating stages with unique rules. Here, your team needs three Primary agents, a Bangboo, and an Auxiliary agent, and you can take advantage of new Resonia, agent-specific Gears, and the new Sweep function.
- Agents Lycaon and Harumasa will get enhancements, in addition to a new outfit for Pan Yinhu coming via a limited-time event.
- From now, you can also earn Polychrome through daily activities, with login rewards totalling 3,300 Polychromes, thanks to the special Inter-Knot Membership event.
- The Guilded Surprise, Wonderful Boo-ns event goes live from February 14 to 23, letting you og in daily for lucky draws. With this, you’ll also get a chance to share in a massive 4 Billion Polychromes prize pool.
Besides this, the global fan initiative Sugar Rush: Cuteness Saves the World is launching in different regions of the world, bringing worldwide collaborations, offline events, and themed activities.
