- Zenless Zone Zero brings a new rerun banner system that removes 50/50 for the first S-rank.
- The rerun banner pity carries over, guaranteeing limited S-Rank Agents and W-Engines on future pulls.
- Losing the 50/50 on a second one carries over, giving you two guaranteed pulls on the next rerun.
HoYoverse is bringing some changes to their gacha system of Zenless Zone Zero, by focusing on a player friendly approach with the introduction of a new rerun banner format. It introduces a new Exclusive Rescreening format with the standard guarantee counter carrying over instead of resetting.
You can now plan for limited rerun pulls with guarantee progress carrying over
A very good news for ZZZ fans as the team has introduced a new rerun banner format, thanks to which the standard guarantee counter doesn’t reset every time the banner returns but it carries over. For anyone unaware, Alice, Silver Soldier Anby, and Astra are currently live for the special banner rotation.
This means that if you got a special guarantee and then pull a non limited S Rank Agent, the next time rerun banner appears, your first two S-Rank pulls will be a selected limited S-Rank Agent. To give you a more simple context, there is no 50/50 on the first S-Rank Agent when the banner comes back.
You can now benefit from double guarantees on future reruns
And, if you previously lost your 50/50 while trying to pull a second S-Rank Agent, that loss also carries forward, with the next rerun giving you two guaranteed limited S-rank pulls. Another cool part is that it applies separately to both characters and W-Engine banners, each enjoying their own preserved pity.
Now, I’m sure this won’t be a regular occurrence, and I totally agree with a Reddit user that said, “otherwise people will start saving for these special reruns than pulling characters on their first debut.” But I don’t have any issue with that as it’s still “super player friendly,” as another Redditor noted.
